Come and play at the Royal Armouries this February half term. There’ll be an action-packed programme of games, performances, talks and have-a-go activities, with something to entertain all ages. Try popular video games and classic board games, plus find out how the world of gaming has been influenced by the museum’s collections.
Throughout the event our team of interpreters will bring to life some familiar games, with an opportunity for visitors to try out a role-playing quest, as well as talks exploring how objects in our collections have been used in video gaming.
From Monday 18 – Friday 22 February, you can play Minecraft and try a special cyber mission, specially developed for the Royal Armouries by Krash Labs, and play some exciting and unusual board games with Cards or Die.
On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 February Leeds Wargames Club will be giving demonstrations around the galleries, and from 22 – 24 February Warlord Games and Paper Soldiers will have loads of games set up for you to try.
