JORVIK Viking Festival 2019

Visit York’s Chocolate Story for an entertaining and informative guided tour through the history of York’s most famous chocolate-making families and their finest creations. Three floors of interactive exploration take you on a journey through the city where chocolate made history.

A new exhibition – The Field of Cloth of Gold – opens on 27 March at the Royal Armouries Museum, marking the 500th anniversary of Henry VIII’s spectacular festival of Tudor power and glory. Admission to the museum and exhibition is free. An action-packed season of Tudor-themed events will run from Easter to September, including an international jousting tournament (23 – 25 May).
