Yorkshire Attractions is set to debut a new attraction for the summer season: City Cruises York, who offer leisurely tours by speed boat through the historic city of York, and this summer will host a series of events to make the most of the summer weather.
Among a whole host of attractions, Tropical Butterfly House, provides hours of fun for animal enthusiasts of all sizes. With the chance to meet lemurs, meerkats, otters and snakes at their Amazing Animal Encounters, and to watch some spectacular bird shows, it makes for the perfect day out. Alternatively, for those more adventurous families, you can ski, skate or snowboard at Castleford’s Xscape, to name but a few of their activities.
Some of the fantastic events taking place at Yorkshire Attractions include: Safari Nights at Yorkshire Wildlife Park; Dumper Racing at Diggerland; Dino Farm at Cannon Hall Farm; Andy’s Pre-historic Raps at Lightwater Valley; Dangerous Arts at Royal Armouries Museum; digiPlay at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum, Halifax and Colourscape at The Hepworth Wakefield.
