A whole range of animal themed days out are on offer including live Sheep Shearing at Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley; Junior Experience Day at The Deep and farm animals on the green at Animal Adventure at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum.

Have a creative start to the half term holidays with a visit to fun and exciting exhibitions with a difference. Inspire imagination through costumes with Harewood House’s new exhibition Victoria; learn more about 250 years of Terry’s Chocolate at York Chocolate Story and see a room with 27 extra-long jumpers on display at Disobedient Bodies, exhibition at The Hepworth Wakefield.

Finally, encourage the family to escape reality and see an aerial acrobatics performance titled ‘Pass it On’ at the National Coal Mining Museum for England and embrace the Enchanted World of Fairies at Tropical Butterfly House in Sheffield.
