Aladdin Pantomime at Cannon Hall Farm

Looking for a mystical day out this November? Head to Cannon Hall Farm between Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November as they welcome TaleGate Theatre Productions to perform the story of Aladdin. Packed with songs, slapstick humour and silliness, this fun-filled pantomime extravaganza is guaranteed to delight the whole family. Tickets to the performance include full day farm admission allowing you to explore the animal attraction too.

Working in partnership with Urban Drive-In Cinema, Diggerland Yorkshire will host a number of drive-in cinema events for visitor to enjoy throughout the winter season. Enjoy an action-packed day out digging, racing and riding on real heavy construction machinery, before watching Bohemian Rhapsody on Saturday 9th November, or Rocketman on Saturday 23rd November at the thrilling Yorkshire Attraction.

Join the Action Heroes at the Royal Armouries Museum on Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December. Whether you’re a grizzled PI, a dilettante adventurer or just a regular joe in a heap of trouble who’s been landed with saving the world, you’re going to need to know how to take a punch, how to tackle multiple henchmen and how to hang on to a hat while duking it out on a speeding tank, luckily stunt school is in session at the museum, come and have a go!

Travel back to the 10th century as Viking Age York is brought back to life through the sights, sounds and smells around you.

How my light is spent

Head to Bronte Parsonage Museum this November to explore the Haworth home of the inspirational Brontës, the world’s most famous literary family. This new digital installation How My Light Is Spent focuses on the life of Patrick Brontë. Enter the Parsonage Cellar to share Patrick’s experience of darkness.

Santa Experience

Looking to experience the Christmas spirit? Join City Cruises York for a magical cruise along the Ouse. Their Santa Experience, which runs from Saturday 30th November invites well behaved boys and girls for a magical day out. You’ll be greeted by Ernie the Elf and Mary Christmas before setting sail and being joined by Santa Claus himself!

Meet the friendliest elves around and Father Christmas himself during Winter Season at Eureka! The National Children Museum’s between Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November. Watch the festive show ‘Snow Day’ and see Jack Frost help a child see the magic of snow for the very first time!

Christmas at Harewood

Join Harewood House from Saturday 23rd November to see their latest exhibition, Christmas at Harewood – Unlock the Magic. Created by acclaimed British artistic duo, Davy and Kristin McGuire, open the doors and follow the music, as Harewood House presents its interpretation of Christmas, with workshops, festive music, events and more!

This November, see Lightwater Valley Theme Park illuminated by hundreds of magical lantern displays for their immersive Alice in Winterland event. The Yorkshire Attraction will become home to many of Lewis Carroll’s iconic childhood characters, including Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Humpty Dumpty and more!

Get into the Christmas spirit with a visit to Magna Science Adventure Centre’s Family Christmas Fayre on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November. Explore over 60 seasonal craft and gift stalls, enjoy festive food and drink, and meet the reindeers and Father Christmas in his grotto. It really is a fun day out in Yorkshire for all the family!

Santa Underground

Will the bell place you on the naughty or nice list? Head to National Coal Mining Museum between Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November and travel 140 metres to join Santa Underground in his unique and atmospheric underground grotto. Good children will receive a present and certificate, while bad children will get coal!

A Christmas Trail at Tropical Butterfly House

Enjoy a wonderful winter’s day out in Yorkshire this November at Tropical Butterfly House! Head to the Sheffield family attraction from Saturday 30th November to experience a magical Christmas Trail through the wildlife park. Gather up your Christmas wishes in a letter to Santa before meeting the man himself and his Elves at their woodland cabin.
